Role-play scenarios are designed to give you a safe space to practise your skills with an AI-powered resident. In this scenario, take an inbound call from a resident who is having some issues during their installation.
This role-play course gives you a safe space to practise handling a resident who has some concerns about their installation. Set at the fictional retrofit installer EcoSolutions, it places you on an inbound call from a resident who is having some issues during their installation. The AI responds to exactly what you say, there is no script, no on-screen prompts, and no safety net.

You'll practise letting the resident set out the problem in his own terms, reflecting back what you have heard, and making clear that his concern has registered before you move toward explanation or action.
You'll practise responding to the disruption he is experiencing in his own home, not only to the technical fault. Work in an occupied property makes the resident's experience part of the problem to be resolved, and the call rewards recognising that.
You'll practise the core judgement of the scenario: distinguishing a genuine issue requiring intervention from a knowledge gap requiring explanation, and both from a misunderstanding requiring clarification. Misreading which of the three you are facing sends the rest of the call in the wrong direction.
You'll practise holding responsibility for the concern rather than deflecting it to another team or to the installer on site, and being clear about what you will personally do next.
You'll practise closing the call by explaining the position in plain English, free of technical shorthand, and setting out practical next steps the resident can understand and expect.
