GREEN SKILLS ACADEMY in Trafford Park

You'll play a critical role in Greater Manchester's ambitions to reach Net Zero carbon
as early as 2038!

You'll be exposed the latest green technologies from Solar Photovoltaic to
Wind Turbine technology.

1) Skills Bootcamp in Construction Multi-Trade
Duration: 4 days per week for 6 weeks
Location: Greater Manchester Skill Centre, Trafford Park

The bootcamp is designed to equip participants with sector-specific skills, culminating in a guaranteed interview with a local employer.

The programme covers health and safety, legislation, hazard recognition, responsible work practices, and practical skills like joinery, tiling, painting, and bricklaying.

Weeks progress with more advanced topics in bricklaying, plastering, and plumbing, incorporating Level 3 Fundamentals of Building Information Modelling (BIM). The final weeks focus on essential soft skills, including CV enhancement, interview strategies, and employability skills.

The bootcamp presents a comprehensive pathway for skill development and direct employment opportunities.
2) Skills Bootcamp in Renewable Energy Types
‍Duration: 2 days per week for 6 weeks
Location: Greater Manchester Skill Centre, Trafford Park

Enhance your understanding of sustainable energy sources like solar, biomass, and wind energy. Discover the significance of renewable energy for environmental sustainability, covering principles, regulations, roles and materials.

Gain practical insights into achieving optimal results and be equipped with the knowledge and skills to engage effectively in the industry.
